The Downliner - part 4
How to use The Downliner effectively Part 4
So we're back with part 4. Are you starting to understand how incredibly easy this stuff is now? I bet you are now wondering why gurus tell you that marketing a product or site is difficult without tons of high priced tools to assist you?
It's true that there are some tools you need to establish a name for yourself in the industry but its certainly not as pricey as you are being told. In fact, you could easily establish yourself for less than $50 a month.
Now you're thinking "Whoah $50? I've been told to spend nearly $250!" and it's at this point you begin to realize that the reason network marketing has been made out to be so complicated is because it becomes profitable that way.
Think about it for a second. Let's say you head to a site that tells you earning is as easy as putting on a hat and you can do it all for less than $XX. To be honest that's probably what you will find in the initial sales page in order to grab your attention and encourage you to sign up but, once inside you find that for absolutely no reason you are now being shown what we call in the industry the "upsell" where you are told "Yes you can make money with this but you can make even more money if you buy these products and resell them to your customers for a commission".
Suddenly a program that promised to set you up for this price is now trying to push you to spend even more for products you will likely never use.
So, right now I am going to share with you the 2 things you will ever need to earn an income online.
The first is an autoresponder. Normally you are told by the leaders that Aweber and GetResponse are the only ones a marketer should use but when you look at the pricing for each one you will understand why those are the only ones they recommend ;)
In truth there are loads of Autoresponders and they all do the same job. They allow you to capture details like a visitors name and email address as well as many other things you may want to know about them. Then it stores that information in a database and allows you to schedule messages to send. That's all it is!
So with that in mind the fact that the Autoresponders recommended by the "leaders" and "gurus" increase their charges based on your list size there are really only two I can recommend at this time.
The First is RocketResponder
TimTech really did a great job designing an Autoresponder that was easy to use and built in the bootstrap theme and for anyone new to marketing or even those who just don't like the alternative i will mention next, this is the Autoresponder you really want to be taking a good look.
Very easy to use and even has a tour video for those who have never used an autresponder before. Well worth checking out.
The Second is TrafficWave
Now I only recommend this to more advanced marketers who have used an Autoresponder before because unless you know what you are doing with TrafficWave you are sure to have trouble finding your way around. I do not recommend to marketers based on functionality but purely on cost because at $17.50 per month it is one of the more affordable options next to RocketResponder which is $20 a month. Personally though $2.50 extra for a system that has a much more up to date navigation system and intuitive links is a small price to pay!
One advantage to both systems though is that they each allow you to test it for 30 days before charging you anything so my advice is join one, test it, then join the other and test it. After that you'll be educated enough to make a decision on which you prefer.
So now you have learned the first thing you need no matter what business you are promoting. As a tip you could also create a skype group or a social network group and include it as a link in your first Autoresponder Campaign. This will allow you to provide assistance but also help you build a community of likeminded people.
I'll bet you can't wait for Part 5 of this guide because thats where I am going to show you how to use the Custom page creator on The Downliner to link with your Autoresponder and start building yourself a list.
Until then,
Your mission should you choose to accept it:
