How to use The Downliner effectively Part 3
Welcome back. By now you should have a few thousand points in The Downliner as well as a credits in your surfed Traffic Exchanges.
If not then we recommend you either Upgrade in TDL to receive 6,800 points (equivalent to 5,400 views) or 20,000 points (equivalent to 20,000 views) per month or go back and read part 2 of this series because without credits or points you are going to find it difficult to generate any views to your Campaigns.
So let's move on shall we?
To illustrate how The Downliner works we are going to use a few images (shown below) to show you the difference between a user promoting their own sites in 5 exchanges and a user promoting their Downliner Cooperative link in 5 exchanges.
As you can see from this image your site will only ever be shown to the members within those 5 exchanges and for each view regardless of whether it is a repeat or not, you will be deducted 1 credit even if your site is shown to the same members 100 times within a very short timeframe.
Now let's see that again but this time replacing Your Site(s) with your Downliner Cooperative link:
You are still a member of the 5 Traffic Exchanges but by the simple switch of your Sites link with your Downliner Cooperative link you have extended your reach to thousands of exchanges without even being a member of them! In addition to this, thanks to the agressive anti-cheat system as well as the fair for our members policy, if anyone in those exchanges views your page more than once within a 5 minute period you are only deducted for 1 view so your Campaigns last much longer!
There are other advantages to using this method. One of the biggest is that if you ever decide to change your site links, then instead of doing it inside each traffic exchange one at a time, you can just change it on The Downliner which will change it everywhere you promote your Cooperative link.
Just another way to save yourself time which you could be using to promote your business :)
Now this may surprise you now but as you are using The Downliner this pretty much covers Traffic Exchanges so the next email will be about Safelists.
